Competency 4
A successful example of collaborative teaching is in artist’s residencies programs. Pennsylvania has developed intensive long term residencies and Teacher-Artist Partnerships (TAP) programs. I was fortunate to have a four year residency and a consultant for training artists and teachers for this program. I worked alongside the best teaching artists for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts in Harrisburg developing training materials, advertising and teaching the participants.
